This is our home.
Stay in it a while.
We're Sam and Leetal. We've lived in this sunlit two-bedroom apartment by Prospect Park for a few years now. We've made it into a lovely sunny place for our little family. When work takes us out of the city, we'd rather hand the keys to good people rather than leave it dark. When we go, everything stays: our books, our pots, our lovely plants, the kids' setup. Bring suitcases and nothing else. From $5,800 a month, everything included.

About 1,050 square feet we know by heart.
Our apartment is the entire second floor with windows on two sides. The two bedrooms are separated from the kitchen and lounge. This means our family sleeps well and late night people, don't keep early sleepers awake.
Everything we're leaving here for you.

The deposit is refundable, and it goes back to your card within 7 days of your checkout. We are not looking to keep it, but it will be used to cover us if something is damaged or lost.
Ask us about these datesWhat people usually ask us.
One month at the least. That's a New York City rule for a home like ours, not our preference, so we can't make an exception for a shorter trip. Six months is the most, because after that we want our own kitchen back.
$1,000, charged when you book and fully refundable. It goes back to your card within 7 days of your checkout. If something breaks, we'll tell you what and what it costs before we hold anything back. Things break in a real home; we're reasonable about it.
Yes, all of it. Electric, AC, heat, water, and our fiber internet are in the monthly rate. You'll never get a separate bill from us.
We're sorry, but no pets.
Almost none of it. Our son's crib stays up with two sets of sheets, and so do the high chair, the blackout shades, the outlet covers, the bath seat, the toy basket, and the shelf of picture books. Feel free to ask us about anything else we may have it and will leave it for you.
On the street, which is free, we can usually find a spot on our block. Alternate-side parking rules are usually in effect; check the signs.
We send a keypad code three days ahead, so you can let yourselves in any time after 3pm on your first day. Last day, we ask you out by 11am. If we're in town we'd love to meet you at the door and show you where everything lives.
Tell us more than 30 days out, and you get everything back. Between 30 and 14 days, half of the first month comes back. Inside 14 days, we can't refund it unless someone else takes the dates, and we'll genuinely try.
Call us at the number in your confirmation email. There is no call center, no property manager, just us. We have local support and handymen we can send if needed.
